In November I started a “Praise Challenge” and invited strangers and friends to join me in it.
These testimonies are long overdue, but I had sensed February, specifically, Valentine’s Day, would be the perfect time to start sharing.
I’ll share one a day over the next week.

There are things to praise the Lord about everyday. Things that I expect or become used to in daily life like water from a faucet, a bed to sleep in, eye sight, breath in our lungs, sunrises etc are all Christs blessings showered onto us.
Sometimes it’s easy to forget about His blessings are all around us. In those times it draws me even closer to Him because there is just so much to praise Him about it’s overwhelming.
Even in the storms or days I don’t feel like praising, I feel pulled into His goodness because He is still so good. He provides the exact provisions we need to weather the storms and that is more than praiseworthy.
Over this challenge I felt myself being pointed to how big of a God I serve and how transformative He is. Sometimes I can put God in a box and feel like if I don’t actually hear His actual voice then He’s not speaking and growing me.
The Lord doesn’t always work in those ways with His children but it doesn’t mean He is not speaking to and growing us.
Through digging into His word, worship music and being surrounded by people that speak truth into me, I felt and saw that He was indeed speaking to me and growing me.
His residence in me is undeniable. The chains and hollowness of the flesh are dead and no longer ruling my life: He is.
My desires, thoughts, heart and inclinations have been softened and are being molded to look more like Christ. There are still cracks and flaws because I mean I’m human but I have a perfect potters hands molding me to be more and more like His image when I allow Him to do His work in me.
I want to be someone who God uses to show the world His love and His redemptive power.
I want be someone who is a river flowing onto others because I have been blessed by a God that pours into me, undersvingly and He has put people into my life that pour truth into me to help me grow in my relationship with a great and mighty God.
You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.
